While ensuring that the safety, security, and comfort of the Burlington residents served by the Housing Authority is the Board's top priority, I see my role on the Housing Authority Board as

• helping the Executive Director pursue state and federal grant money,
• ensuring there are checks and balances,
• setting policies and procedures,
• networking with nearby housing authorities for ideas and resources.

My background in finance and administration along with my Housing Partnership experience enables me to be an effective Housing Authority Board member.  I have been an engaged town meeting member for almost 10 years and previously, served as a Library Trustee for 12 years as well as serving on the Rules Committee and the Town Meeting Transportation Committee.  With all these committees, I was actively engaged in their mission and would commit the same dedication to the Housing Authority Board.
